    It is my first post on here but I’ve been on the road running for over 40 years. I used to have a bunch of brokers I used, but I’ve been running with Fedex and other companies I didn’t need a broker for and they all seem to have changed I was just wondering who people used

    I’ll try to answer your question. I can work with almost any brokerage. My experience is that most are pretty good if you build rapport. I prefer smaller ones where I deal with one or two folks and build a relationship. I avoid one that has too many useless employees that cannot fix an issue. I stay away from the foreign ones and known problem children such as molo, tql, landstar, xpo, or Uber.

    Rate. You want a great rate? I assume yes. You need leverage. Timing, relationship with broker, service, negotiating skills, etc. Without leverage you got a low paying load.
