Yeah, I remember that place. I was hoping it wasn't THEM he was talking about. BTW, I hear that the chicken there was a bit.....oily!

That location is for both east&west. I've never tried the Gary spot, the couple of times I've stopped for fuel they've been closed
Still undecided Thanks this. -
I haven't been to the Gary location since before the Loves across the street burned down. I bet that cut into their business.

Moon Palace in Brookville, PA. Asian food place with plenty of space to park at least 8 trucks.
It's located off the same exit as the Pilot and TA. Turn the opposite way as you would to get to the truck stops. There is an old fashioned family dining restaurant next door to Moon Palace.
Kavkaz Restaurant (huge lot for truck parking) in Loganton, PA. Can't remember the exit number. Trucker Path shows it as a location with parking available. There is a Sunoco fueling station across the street with parking available, too. -
IF you can get to the exit onto Long Wharf just outside downtown New Haven CT (it takes some work to get down through there) theres usually a fleet of good food trucks set up alongside the beach side of 95.
It's a little tricky if you haven't done it before, so pay attention: if youre northbound on 95, take exit 46 for Long Wharf Rd and make a left off the ramp onto Long Wharf Road. As soon as you get on the road, look for a spot along the curb you can fit--but make sure a/ you can get out and b/ you dont park in any of the designated food truck spots. (You may have to hike a little ways to get to the trucks if you can't find parking close enough to them. You may have to take the first spot you see if it looks busy (as it often is). To leave and get back to northbound 95, the easiest way is to go up to the next road you can turn left on, go under the 95 bridge, make another left, and go back down to Long Wharf Dr, make another left, and circle back around to the same ramp you came off 95 from; there's another on-ramp back onto 95 right there. (Alternately, you can stay on Long Wharf road & take it up to Water St/US1 and turn right; eventually it'll put you back on 95 northbound.)
If going southbound, you can do the same thing—jump off the 46, make a left off the ramp, then left at the next light to Long Wharf Rd and make the same circle I just mentioned, OR...if you want to park on Long Wharf facing southbound (which often is the better bet), get off at x51 for US-1 and just stay on it; it turns into Water Street. When you get to East Street past the refineries, turn left; East Street becomes Long Wharf Dr. To leave, stay on Long Wharf as it curves under the 95 bridge; make the first right & then the next right back onto 95 southbound.Last edited: Jan 29, 2023

Those 2 Indian restaurants I linked are at truck stops. If you're not afraid to walk from the TA truck stops, there's a Thai restaurant in Rawlins, WY and another in Reno, NV. The best Thai place in the country that I've found is Pearl of Siam in Aurora, CO. But there's not really any good truck parking around there. -
Easy to find food trucks in Chicago if you know where to look. Also in Indy.
Roll up, park put your 4 ways on get what you need and go. 5 minutes.
Trouble is, these food trucks are in neighborhoods/city areas where most truckers don't go. Or are afraid to. -
One of the only benefits of going into Philadelphia market. Packer avenue had some great food trucks.
