I'm thinking about getting an air fryer and putting it on my semi-truck. I'm not much of a cook. I've cooked a lot of foods in the microwave such as microwaveable pizzas. And I have cooked a lot of pre-made meals in my oven at my house like chicken pot pies. But I don't consider that to be real homemade cooking. The only "real" cooking I have ever done by myself in my entire life is cooking hamburger meat on my stove to make cheeseburgers, and I have cooked chili in a crock pot. That's it.

Also, I need to know recipes that I could cook quickly on my 30 minute break. I have cook chili in a crockpot before, but that took about 8 hours. I need to cook stuff quickly.

What type of foods could I cook in an air fryer quickly on my DOT 30 minute break?

If you have an air fryer on your semi-truck, what foods do you cook in your air fryer on your semi-truck on your DOT 30 minute break?

get a microwave air fryer combo.
    About $110 at walmart
Long as you’ve got an inverter.
Can throw them Tyson chicken fried steaks in there quick for a sandwich.

Rather than cook food quickly, I recommend you use something like a crockpot that cooks as you drive. A brief stop to prepare the ingredients, throw them in the crockpot or instapot, press start, and then drive. When the cooking is done, you stop and eat. Checkout the YouTube channel 12 Volt Cooking. He has good ideas and is using a lunchbox cooker. He is really cooking stuff, not just reheating packaged food. Unless you have a strong desire to cook specific things, I would not suggest you start cooking in the truck. Go watch some of the "van life" YouTube videos on cooking. Lots of people outside of trucking have good solutions to situations that solve trucking situations.

Google is your friend and faster with this question. Seriously. There are 10s of thousands of sites with recipes for an Air Fryer, or anything else.

I'd give you some but I'm not about to type a bunch of recipes out. Just google Air Fryer ideas for dinner to get you started. You'll get a ton of results from wtf to delicious. All skill levels to! No skill to Pro level! Here I'll get you started. A Link to 55 ideas.
55 Easy Air-Fryer Recipes for Beginners

Everything from Wings, quesadillas, corn dogs, chicken parm, veggies, chicken, pork, beef, etc etc etc.

You'll find a ton of sites like above. If you can't find something you like, your to picky. ;)

A tip when it comes to other peoples recipes...Change them up and make them your own if you want. Don't like Broccoli? Use something else. Hate mushrooms? Sub it out for something else. If you want to that is.

Good luck, and when you get the hang of it, post some pics. We eat with our eyes first as the saying goes.

I’m a single male who hates cooking. The air fryer is the single best invention in the past decade. I’m not even joking. This thing changed my life.

You can cook almost everything ultra fast. However they take serious wattage make sure your inverter can handle it.

Cooking a meal during a 30 minute break?
    Get real! It won't happen.
Unless you are cooking a hot dog.

Cooking a real meal is best done during your 12-14 hour break at night, since it takes a couple hours.
Grab a snack during the 30 and cook when you shut down for the day.

I get the tyson bbq wings and chicken fries. Then cook some tots with em takes 10 mins.
Once in awhile I'll get bugers to air fry takes about 15 for them but don't really care for how they come out.
I also cook foods at home and freeze em and put in baggies and just heat em up.
