That is a LTL guy out of Bismarck I think. I was going to return for the summer out of Willmar just for something to do, texted the terminal manager and initially he was positive, but after he had time to call Mark in Coon Rapids, he said sorry not interested. My wife is happy, she didn't want to work this summer. I still have a positive opinion of Magnum even though I will not drive there again.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to my journey with FCC. You're more than willing to follow that thread too if you want. Lots of good information and people there. And yes, if anyone lives in ND/MN or NC and is looking for a good reefer company, Magnum will be the first place I mention.
Also I hope your dad is okay. It's funny that when we are young our parents take care of us, but when our parents get older, the role tends to be reversed.
Best of luck on whatever you decide to do next. -
That must be him then. He was pulling a set of turnpike doubles which I know aren't allowed in Minnesota.Mnmover99 Thanks this.

Could have been from Minot also, The Sioux Falls guys usually have 2 42's or 45's I have seen Minot arrive in Fargo with 2 53's and a converter behind. All at night, One day they loaded 82,000 lbs of freight to Minot on 2 53's. The guy made it OK, but then Cody started cutting down on the weight. Sometimes they drop or add a trailer in Jamestown or Grand Forkscdavis188 Thanks this.

I drove a KW day cab a few times when I was there on the P&D LTL side at Fargo. In fact i probably met @Mnmover99 a few times.
Good luck at FCC. I got a friend who drives for them, and he’s very happy there. He isn’t on here though. His name is Scott Beemer. You’ll know it if you meet him, he’s loud. Lol.motocross25, dwells40 and cdavis188 Thank this. -
He was pulling a 53 in front and what looked like a 45 for the trailing unit

Well that concludes my employment with Magnum. Turned in my truck earlier today and just made it home over 600 miles via rental car. A great company that earned my respect. I wish nothing but the best to current and to-be drivers.
Now for my journey at Fremont Contract Carriers.JForce28, drvrtech77, wulfman75 and 5 others Thank this. -

drvrtech77 and dwells40 Thank this. -
They have plenty of trailers, so long as the driver’s ok it’s all good.
