Man I feel for the owner. Muscle car guys and the import crowd may rip on each other relentlessly. Still, we can all feel the pain of losing something we've poured a lot of time, money and effort into to make it ours. Makes it worse when it wasn't you that totalled your ride.

 

well either way, the shop pays for the car.

and for me, it's a shop i'd never trust again, nor recommend to even my worst enemy, as i even respect my enemy too much.

 

insurance will only pay for an old car.

 

depends, there are classic car insurance companies, one is Grundy if i recall

 

i totally forgot about Hemmings, and i used to subscribe to their monthly brown book...Hemmings Motor News..???

(i recall it being a brown book)

 

They have a free weekly news letter,but the comments are normally better than the articles.
