I got a bad report by someone. No recourse allowed. Eventually I’ll find out who it is, and return the favor. WTF? I got refused a Load despite many successful loads prior. They dropped me like a hotcake, based on someone’s bad review. I have very few problems ever. Take good care of the freight and customers. I always let Brokers incompetence roll off my back. I’ve learned to expect it, as part of doing Business. Always have to cut them a lot of slack. Always polite and professional, regardless. I hear horror stories about other Drivers all the time from them. I think it’s slander without recourse. The Owner of Freightguard himself is of questionable character. The thought of some snot nose posting a bad review on me is very irritating. Any tips on how I can acess Freightguard short of getting a Brokers MC#? None of the Brokers I know personally use them. I’m sure there’s a Broker somewhere that might do me a favor. I’d be willing to pay if needed. Maybe take a load at a reduced rate, just to get the info.

If they refuse a load due to one bad review, they probably did you a favor by not loading you.
One thing i can tell you in my driving career, you can never make everyone happy, no matter what you do above and beyond.

That really sucks! And the fact that you can't write a rebuttal is bs!

You should have received an email to the company email listed on carrier411. In the email would be the actual FG report as written, as well as the opportunity to post a rebuttal to 411.

What did they FG you for?

I’m going to just have to put it out of mind. Plenty of other things to focus on. So far it’s only been 1 Broker/Carrier. I can’t help but wonder though, every time I hear “ That Loads been covered”,

Update. I don’t have any negative reports after all. I don’t know why the Broker told me so. It’s a mystery. I have been refused by a couple more, no reason given. The reasons I have heard is because I don’t have any inspections within the last 2 yrs. I was told once that the reason being is because of shady characters posing as Carriers, and double brokering freight to others. In other words, no inspections, no equipment. I’ve had this over ridden a few times. They have to take the time to do further research for approval. I guess others can’t or just don’t want to take the time. It’s frustrating because this week, I heard it twice. Once for unknown reason. Other time the Guy just hung right up, when I asked why he couldn’t use my Company. These are companies I’ve worked for in the past without problems. Still investigating. At least I can stop worrying about Freightguard. For now anyways there’s still plenty of Brokers to work for. I won’t work for those who have refused me in the future, when the tables turn. Just Business is no excuse. Bad Business shouldn’t be rewarded.

29340759-AC54-4472-942F-67D8636AA814.png So here lies the problem. Misinformation. How they came up with 9 yrs. I have no clue. Been in Business 18 yrs. Been inspected over 75 times. All but a few were good. Inspected so many times, it felt like the Government was trying to put me out of Business. Now it’s because of a lack of inspections that I’m losing Business. No good deed goes unpunished. Lol, It’s crazy. Guess I’ll have to volunteer for a DOT inspection. Kind of goes against my intuition though.

I am glad for you it was not a bad review. I'd go nuts without knowing who and for what...I'd have someone to check it out for me. That 411 gets on my nerve from the very stories I read and I think slender and libel laws could apply there more than a few times. Voluntary inspections are much different than those done at random. I attended a few when I drove for someone else. They are more friendly and they don't aim for finding some loose piece of arse end as they do when they summon you to the inspection barracks after they weigh you. On average, I get one a year but only paperwork and walk around - I think those are level 3 and 2. I would not volunteer on behalf of a random broker though.
And those double brokering shady characters must be quite a problem. I receive at least a few phone calls a day offering dispatch or even a line of credit.

Simple way to get inspection, Drive to Highway dept/DoT office.
Can do it in your personal vehicle, go inside take letter with you, explain situation, there will be an officer give you a level 3, bring your med card, etc and do a driver only inspection.
Helps his quota, helps you too, win win.
