Rumors. Though they got hacked like a week ago,and was going to pay drivers like $1500 to be sure they had a check. Mighty good of them, upped their image, in my book.
Agreed, Rumors. Seems to pop up quite frequently. TMC is an Employee owned company. Selling an ESOP company can be difficult and can be a long process.
Or spare leases. I spoke with their VP of Safety last time I was in DSM...they're actually growing faster than they can get trucks, so they're temporarily leasing a couple white trucks until they can get more of their "signature black" Peterbilts bought and into the fleet.
