Thieves also are stealing the electric motors that power the gates in gated communities. They set up those orange construction cones to look legitimate, then remove the electrical equipment, load it into pickup trucks and off they go.
They don't care if security cameras are watching or not. Try to stop them yourself and they shoot with no warning.bzinger Thanks this. -
Thieves are also stealing the EV chargers in whole or cutting the cords off. Several have been vandalized where I live. Going yo get interesting. But takes some big ones to steal
From backyards and gate equipment. -
Shoot them first, that way you'll prevent them from shooting you and stealing your property.
A dead thief is no loss to humanity.bzinger Thanks this. -
But what about violating their rights?
Crooks have rights in too.
2 examples.
Convicted burglar sues homeowner who shot him during attempted theft

That first case was a bad shoot b/c the homeowner shot the perp as the perp was fleeing and thus was not a threat to the homeowner at the instant the shot was fired.
The second case is beyond asinine. In my opinion that would be a good shoot but unfortunately for the homeowner they live in the PNW which is not a favorable legal climate for the use of firearms in defense of self, and where property rights may as well not even exist. Also, they will claim that because he shot the guy in the back at close range he was in the wrong, although I don't agree with that because the perp was not attempting to flee and was still in close range so he could have attacked the homeowner with a handheld weapon or with his fists. Also, it says that lawsuit was filed on behalf of the perp's survivors so I'm assuming that lawsuit was filed by a bunch of left-leaning lawyers, or some special-interest group, that takes a dim view of the use of firearms for defensive purposes.
And don't even get me started on that judge. Any jurist who would allow this claim:
should be immediately and permanently disbarred and shamed in the media.Last edited: Mar 5, 2023

Pool pump $1,800
Chlorine Generator $$1,300
Heat pump $5,000
