Any drivers out there tried out any of these meals you order the meals you want with choices of meats fish veggies pasta there delivered to you’re Home frozen, from looking at you tube the savings seem great upto $10:00 for meals and the portions are correct as to not over eat and keto friendly even cooking up keto meals in air fryer or microwave.

If no one replies, maybe it will be up to you to be the one who goes out on a limb and orders them and reports back for the benefit of the rest of us. :)

These sound pretty good/healthy, real food and less preservatives, but you would need a lot of freezer space from the sounds of it.

An alternative I liked were those Hormel Compleats, little oval shaped dishes, available in every Walmart. They did not require refrigeration, but no doubt loaded with sodium/preservatives and probably less healthy. Especially the chicken alfredo flavor I thought was the best (and I probably tried them all). I would always keep a few on hand, if you have a microwave you can always have a hot meal even when spending the night at a shipper or receiver in BFE.

I tend to carry a box of these every time i go out. Usually around $15 each off sale and ive seen them as low as $8 on sale. They are somewhat more healthy then truckstop food. Dont go bad. Self heating even if my truck is broke down, compact, never gotten sick from them and being the civvi brand dont have the side effects of their military version as far as i can tell. I love em for when im in the middle of no where or starting to run low on the fresh stuff. A double pack of 12 meal cases usually lasts around 6 weeks.

You can also carry those rice retort pounces and tuna/chicken also in the pouches and some other shelf stable odds and ends and they make a pretty good dinner usually for $2-7 a meal depending on how fancy you go and come out far healthier. And lastly a good ol plastic toat full of various canned goods can be made into a wide array of easy microwave meals.

As i said healther lol. Compared to a roller dog or mcpukeinasack.....ill take the MRE any day XD.

But as for the actual food. This was easy to make. Just a serveing from a #5 can of freeze dried chicken nuggets. Some sweet and sour from the truckstop and a brown rice retort pack in the nuke with some seasame seeds from my spice box. Instant sweet and sour chicken.

Or heres another rice with spicy tuna and pasta bowl.

They both cost around $4 a serveing

Dunno how you OTR cats do it.... I ate like pure, unadulterated, #### when I was out there (not to mention smoking too many cigs).... Glad to be home. I spend ~$60 a week on groceries (inflated, due to the times) to keep me floating about my girlish weight of 195lbs. Lotta veg & protein; very little processed "center aisle" junk.
