    Hello,

When ya'll are out on the road and need to find a tow or a mobile mechanic, what resources do you use to find those? Is there a couple of good sources for this info?

    Thanks.

Fleet net America provides a good service.

    NTTS book.

    Google.

I personally get my tools out and figure out how to get parts to me.

I remember using Dave's towing out of Somerville, NJ for local work and he could arrange a tow almost anywhere and get it billed back thru him for a slight additional fee.

Had very good results getting a wrecker quickly, in the middle of nowhere at 2 am.......

    repairs is another story

That's what most company's road breakdown department does. I still remember most of the 'preferred vendors' we had around major cities, and even those which covered some large rural areas. Once you find a tow company who's not looking to #### you over, you tend to stay with them...
