I like a company that doesn't have the miles. It's when they don't have the money I get a little long in the tooth.

Thank you. Yes, it's been a year or so. As they say, some life events required my undivided attention for a time.

 

I am looking forward to seeing more of those neat and evenly-spaced perforations you leave around here on TTR.

 

I like how people sign up for the forum to shallowly bash a company, then, disappear. We never get to hear the whole story, with details.

 

Yes, miles can be so annoying, especially if the company has ridiculous expectations like " delivering on time" so bourgeois.
BTW glad you have returned from your hiatus.

 

I never minded the pick-up / delivery appts (when I was in that kind of trucking). My gig doesn't have appts. I pick up and go deliver, wash, rinse, repeat from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. But, I always get a kick out of the back of trailers I see on the interstate that say "We've got the miles". I don't give two squats about that. If I were looking for a new gig, I'd want to know who has the money.
