Truck company making me pay for small damages

If you’re w2 they can’t force you unless you signed an agreement and even then you can probably argue against it. If they misclassified you as 1099 maybe.

 

Three things a company can legally do.. 1. lower your rate of pay for X amount of time, 2. Suspend you or 3 terminate you

 

Because stupidity knows no bounds - even the laws of physics.

 

Quit being scared of DAC. The companies that use it are the ones you don't want to work for.

The only state I can think of that might not require authorization to deduct anything is Missouri. There may be others, but in Texas where I live an employer can't take a dime without you authorizing it, in writing.
