Equipment is awesome if you are one of the drivers who get new trucks when they buy them. In my opinion they need new trucks now but i doubt we see any this year. 100 six year old Pete's, 100 four year old internationals and 50 two year old petes is pretty much the fleet.

Home policy use to be 7 business days and now it's just 7 days. That being said if you take 7 and need an extra day or three, I've never heard of anyone being told no.

How long do you have to be out before you can take home time?

It might depend on where you live, but I take my time off at their HQ in Texas. I go out on a trip, which usually lasts 8-18 days, then I take time off when I come back. It's usually 2-4 days, but I feel like I can take as much time as I need. Guys take 10-12 weeks a year without raising any eyebrows.

In my experience it's always been at least one outbound load completed and I could get a load home. Some guys say two outbound loads and then you can get home. Some guys living around our plants go home pretty often.

I’m in the DFW area, so would be near Grand Prairie, which I believe is their HQ, right?

Yeah im pretty sure 2020 screwed whatever they had going for them. Its been about that long since we've been doing those backhauls. Those backhauls sucked in my opinion so cant say im sad to see them go lol.

How do you bypass the 15 minute shutoff on the LT? I rarely sleep with my engine on but need to for a few hours with this southern heat. It keeps shutting off after 15 even though it's over 80 degrees outside
