Pepsi in Sacramento has a ton of Tesla trucks already at their DC. A good many of them are parked/broke down. The ones that are running, they have to cut over 4000 pounds of product from the trailers to make legal weight compared to diesel tractors.

I don't believe the CA folks actually believe they will get to where they want. They just want to announce and will then stumble/bumble through issues. Most of the folks making this edict will be long gone from CA GOV service when the dates posted hit.

Additionally, all you need is a new President and DOJ Attorney General. Plenty of potential in charges for affecting "interstate" commerce by a State Government. CA is just fine in setting rules for CA trucking companies but it ends there. It should be perfectly legal to operate a diesel engine in CA for out of state companies.

All that from a state where the ole Govna goes to a place called "the laundry", to eat what looks something like moldy gravy on white rice. And pays through his nose for it, too.

It was the air valves, the same parts were recalled from Freightliner, IIRC.
