This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things

Well....that's his prerogative if he wants to give her what she wants. She will find out with a quickness just how unfriendly the real world is, that's provided she gets out on her own and she isn't protected.

 

It’s his money, do what he wants, can’t take it with you.

 

I think the tickets were like 280 each for the Eagles but by the time I had to pay the fees to get the tickets it was 440 . a ticket .. and there was no way around the fees to buy tickets .. then like you said 20.00 parking .. and 12.00 for a beer plus 40.00 for a Tee shirt x2 of us & I decided I would much rather pay 18.00 for Crown & Coke than 12.00 a beer plus a 120.00 for 2 steak dinners before the concert and a 200 motel .. I had about 1400 in the deal
I remember when I was 18 I went to a all day Stadium concert with .. Peter Frampton, Bob Seger, 38 Special, Ted Nugent, Rick Deringer & Marshall Tucker tickets were only 80.00 and Bring your own Beer
My how times have changed..lol

 

You right its his money to spend how he wish's
But what life lesson is he teaching his daughter ?
This is a perfect example of whats wrong with this country IMHO.. its the self entitlement
It also makes it harder for the not so fifthy rich folks

 

Life lesson, It’s out there, if you want it go get it.

 

Why go get when daddy hands it too you for free ?

 

Cause daddy went and earned it,
Showing his very hard work ethic?
