Ive had nearly that second one happen to me. Was going through a construction area about a year ago and one of their service trucks pulled out infront of me and dropped a hammer on the ground. Ended up smashing a hole in my hydro tank 2 tires and punching a giant dent into my fuel tank when my steer sucked it up and yeeted it backwards.
Crap falling off vehicles is no #### joke. I pulled this out of my rear tire after it destroyed one of my drives.
hope not dumb twucker and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Always remember to take those exits 5-10 mph below the posted ramp speed limit. Even slower if you need to. Those sharp curve exits and clover leaf/spiral exits will roll you over easily. All of us pro drivers drivers are not invincible in these big rigs, ya gotta remember that. We’re too heavy, tall and long to be maneuvering around like a 2000 lbs sedan car.

High dollar hammer?

Holy ####. Glad it didn’t get you

Over the years I have collected dozens of tools on the side of the road in my bicycle trips. Mostly small hand tools, pliers, screwdrivers and the like
but every now and again I find a bigger one, several hammers of various sizes.
And since pickups with flatbed bodies are replacing regular bodies with sides, it it happening more and more often.
