Is it legal to carry a bottle of alcohol on the truck in a toolbox?

Excellent advice. Several new drivers on this forum had job interviews cut short and told to leave and that's because they talked too much.

 

Just be careful what you reveal during a job interview. Doesn't make you look bad by asking questions on this forum.

As if you were drinking outside on your front porch you’d get arrested for public intoxication.

 

That also could have legal implications. You could be considered bootlegging. Could be a reason that product is not available in your home area. Then you have the possibility of having a tax evasion case against you.

 

How to do it:

clear liquor substituted for one in a case of plastic water bottles. Beer, walk around the front of the truck stop, get your suds, walk out the front of the truck stop and around back. Buy what you can finish that day, and be sure to get rid of the empties before you move.

 

In the truck or on the truck... is there really a difference?

And, personally, I think it more likely that LEO would take a look in the toolbox strapped to your catwalk than searching your bunk area during an inspection.

Maybe you should hire Bandit and Snowman to get that beer to you?
