Looking for these specific flaps

Im after a pair of these 14x24" cat flaps, must be this style, not interested in the newer triangle logo ones. I know someone out there has some of these sitting in their shop somewhere...

 

Good luck. Been searching for years. Came across a pallet of 36” long. Sold some to a friend he cut them down, they look good, not like these original fender/battery box style though.

unfortunately no. They sold pretty fast, and I kept a few sets for me.

 

Ohh c'mon...sharing is caring man!! Maybe someday Ill find a stache, but I think Id be keeping a few sets for myself when I find em too...

 

Those mud flaps are not made any more .. Cat stopped making them years ago and they will NOT release the rights on them.. the knocks offs look like crap and are not of any quality

You best bet if you have deep pockets is get the reproductions that are made in Australia ..they are good quality but shipping is the draw back

Sorry cat man, they have a strict brand licensing system and will release anything you ask for production and sales if you fill out their long application and justify it for them. They have to see money from the release and it isn't a small amount.

They won't release it to someone wanting to make a few hundred to sell to their friends but will license it to an established marketer.

The problem is the application is asking for a lot of information involved in the process, including manufacturing business information, financial information, marketing information, and business information that is not all that easily compiled on a product like mud flaps.

Someone with the means to work with a few of these offshore companies that make flaps could send them dimensions and ask for a one-off or sample if they have it in stock, bet someone does because a lot of these flaps are not made here.

 

Why not reach out to a company that makes custom flaps and see if they will make you a couple pairs.

 

There’s been some ok repops made over the years, the problem is people can’t keep their mouth shut on social media so they usually go away. Or the ones who can get decent repops don’t tell anyone about them.

If someone wanted to dig around Alibaba long enough you could probably get some samples from China, they don’t care much about licensing and what not.
