    has anyone ever been scammed by a double broker? this just happened to me with my first load

    No, but please post who the dirtbag double broker was. Also you can sign up for free with Alexander Winton and associates
    They email you weekly with a list of brokers that were reported for double brokering, mc# cancelation and non payment. There are others that do this as well, but I use Alexander Winton and Associates
