Yellow Freight closure thread

Truckers are a lonely life so it is good to have an out. This gives a lot of us a place to share life with people that can understand what they are going through. This is one of the reasons I enjoy coming on this site so much. Life is hard enough when you keep it to yourself so having an outlet sometimes can help a person get through it.

 

I watched a video of a fella going off on management claiming he wasn't getting his pension after 30 years of service with them? It was on the Asian Mia youtube channel?

 

I saw the same video. Not going to post it cause of the TTR policy on language. But he lost his crap cause he got shafted after 30+ years. It's painful to.watch.

 

I think he was confused when told that yellow didn't make that months contribution into the fund. As long as central states is funded the pension should be fine. I would advise to take the lump some and invest it in something else if that was a option but thats just me.

 

@MACK E-6 should I take that video down because of a little foul language or keep it up?

So someone couldve been working there 40 yrs and loses everything?

 

No..,pension is outside company....Yellow just pays into the fund...think 401k but employees do not contribute

Have you thought of maybe giving XPO a look? I know we’re not union, but offer too pay and day one benefits.
