Interesting.
We are generally a dehydrated bunch - and as soon as we get out of the truck, need to pee.
40 oz of water goes almost nowhere to a dehydrated driver aside from internal organ function.
Or is the 40 oz quoted to avoid a medical issue by a driver sculling 3 gallons? Like, just a safety quoted number?
Marked as Refusal on drug test

I know a guy that once notified of testing will take 1 25MG tablet of Hydrochlorothiazide. He says it will start working within around 2 to 3 hours. It also has the added benefit of lowering blood pressure in case of a physical. Then he does not plan on driving the rest of that day. This is also a great way to combat shy bladder.
Your mileage may vary! -
Two hours from the time you was notified. Once I got in exact same situation and now every drug test is the stress.

It seems like some of these trucking companies are just looking for a reason to put something against a driver. Don't try to get a job at ACT as they use the cheapest incompetent testing center that will not write down your medications and then say you take something you never in your life have
