No more points or free showers for us.

Cheaper hot dogs on the roller stand but cost $1.50 more.
BennysPennys, JoeyJunk and Suspect Zero Thank this. -
Peelot revenue is down because cheap freight rates have drivers hauling for fuel money and they can't afford to buy those overpriced roller dogs
BennysPennys, Flat Earth Trucker and Aamcotrans Thank this. -
Meanwhile CAT Scale ticket prices have gone up. $13.50 for a first weigh,$3.00 for a reweigh. Starting to miss those $10.00 first weigh prices!lol
JoeyJunk and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Even then they try to be sneaky and take away the showers that are banked up first chance they get!!JoeyJunk Thanks this.

I’m not worried about Pilot. New owners Berkshire Hathaway & Warren Buffet have made seeking out good management and leaving them alone to do their job be a hallmark for them.
I’m interested to see what British Petroleum is going to do with T/A, specifically their crazy high margins on food and what percentage of their lots continue to be pay-to-park. T/A seemed like it had turned into a death spiral recently.RockinChair, drvrtech77 and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
Remember the 2 pizza slices for $5!?!
Oh those were the good ol days!Flat Earth Trucker, mjd4277 and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
The last good bargain they had on that one was the BBQ chicken pizza! After that they were milking the chicken cordon bleu for all its worth!Flat Earth Trucker and JoeyJunk Thank this.

I sent Craig Fuller (CEO FreightWaves) a note on Twitter that it would be nice to hear from Debi Boffa, the new CEO of T/A. He replied that it would be a great talk for F3 (Future of Freight Festival) a conference they’re putting on in November. Sounds like he may put out the feelers to see if she’ll do an interview.
Now that T/A is financially liquid, I’m interested to see if they will change their parking layout. It’s been a while since I’ve been OTR but I remember some of their lots in S. Pennsylvania, Virginia & Louisiana being a full one third paid parking so no one ever parked in that section. It was a huge waste of space and a hassle for drivers who were desperate for a spot.
