I’ll be honest with you @kylefitzy i think the silver bullet is a much sharper looking truck than the maroon/red one. Those new KW’s have grown on me, there’s a small company out of GA pulling dumps with them and they’re a head turner when they pass by.

 

Well it’s quite the ugly tarp job but it’s holding together so far. Don’t need to be water tight, just needs to keep the machine relatively clean. Boy my heart sank when they sat the load on the trailer at first. The trailer nearly sat flat on the floor. The only part in the air was right in front of the rear axle. Once aired up I had about 4” of ground clearance. I through a set of neck shims in and gained another inch.

was supposed to be a Monday delivery but that won’t happen. NM and CO are having a good old time with me. Nm is over 600 miles. 12.5/36.5/56.5 weights. A little tail heavy but it’s going to work alright. Truck seemed to do just fine with the weight.

 

Don’t let that jackwad stir you up. I used to give you a hard time about your weekly blow ups but only because I hoped that you’d move on to something else before your head exploded. Glad you did and glad you are happier now

They are rated for 70k in 16’. So 66k in about 12’ is “pushing it”.

speaking of pushing it, this new truck probably saved me a headache today. Running across SE Washington an alert came across the dash for high tire temperature, over 185 degrees! I thought that’s got to be an error, so we stopped to check. Sure enough all the drive tires were over 175 degrees. We backed down from 60 to 50, then eventually back up to 55mph for the rest of the day. Highest outside temp was 113 degrees, that definitely didn’t help.

In my old truck, I probably would have lost a tire today.

 

Yeah ended up seeing the driver definitely not you lol. I’m in TX headed to MS and hating the heat!
