Dude - I'm a white immigrant to this country, and a naturalized citizen for 12 years. I'm 48 years old. I'd like to consider myself an American.

If I had to describe an incident back in the old country, I'd say - "White guy, Maori guy, Pacific Islander, or Asian" Sometimes I could nail it down to Samoan, Tongan, Indian or Fijian.

I'm unsure if "Black or Colored or Mixed race, Hispanic or Oriental " are the correct terms to use here, I sure ain't racist - What The #### sensitivity class do I need to go to right now so that I Dion't offend anybody ??

MUCH MORE DISCUSSION ON THIS TIRE TOPIC WILL SEE IT SENT TO THE BIN, OR POLITICS - SO GIVE ME A BREAK PLEASE.

I been in the tire business in on capacity or another since 1992 and I’m not offended by all the negative comments in here. I’ve been frustrated with dealing with that incompetence for 31 years myself. Lol!

I will get you on the schedule for my next sensitivity training class. It covers a broad range of topics. But it can basically be summarized as. If you are white you are no longer able to comment on anything at anytime. Because you are inherently racist and misogynistic.

In your opinion - would I find better service and experience with a 'Goodyear' or 'Michelin' company store?

I'm sure there's independent shops or chains out there where one or two stores might be good, do the larger brand stores have better training and standards/practices?

Thats a tough one because these days the majority of those are mom and pop size franchises or sole ownerships flying the tire brand sign because that is their main supplier. Michelin hasn’t had a company owned shop for going on maybe 20 years. They wanted to get out of the service game for liability reasons. Bridgestone/Firestone are really still the only company owned stores but within the last few years they have been selling them out to franchisee’s or closing down the trouble locations al together for the same liability reasons.

I personally think Goodyear tires are junk.
