Hi all, I'm a driver with 2 years of OTR experience and I'm looking into Success (Prime) or SFI (Schneider) lease (not lease purchase) programs. Would like to hear from people doing this, are you guys happy? I never worked neither for Prime nor for Schneider, can I do lease right away or there is a requirement that I have to work for them as a company driver for certain amount of time first? Any other info will be appreciated too. Thanks!

You can lease at Prime right away.

Run as fast as you can from Prime. I've heard decent things about the program at Schneider though.

They are both bottom feeder mega carriers. I wouldn’t have anything to do with either one.

I did Schneider for about 8 or 9 years and was very successful. And you don't have to be a company driver first.

Prime is cutting fleet a little bit, by hiring less people. 450 trucks or something. Their is video on internet.

Schneider and Prime are 2 of the lowest paying bottom feeder companies in the industry. Don’t waste your time.

Just look at their driver turnover. Had a chance to go to work for Schneider and laughed at the recruiter when he told me the pay. And Prime has been ripping off rookies for years with the lease scam.
