You cannot go wrong with DOT foods. You cannot live more than an hour away from either a terminal or drop yard. Another option you might want to consider is J&R Shugal.
I’m gonna send you a PM to the OP. You will thank me later.
@Chinatown,
Leonard express is only hiring new grads that go through their training program.Chinatown Thanks this. -
DOT is one of the best reefer outfits out there right now for new cdl school grads. -

Honestly, a lot of these so called "OTR" positions are really just flex regional anyway. You'll get regional mileage, just not always in the region you live. -
TMC came to my CDL school. I was interested. Started doing research and I hear the pay is “low”. I also hear the equipment is not always the best despite what you often hear. Not everyone gets a brand new truck. Most get ones with high mileage and those lower end Pete’s are not the most reliable. Training is supposed to be tough too.
I don’t know much about Werner. I just know their slow trucks are always in my way.lual Thanks this. -
Might as well get all your endorsement while your at it. More opportunitiesFrankMills51 Thanks this. -
Tmc get your experience and find a better home if you do flat bed and learn it you would be able to dry van no problem and get at least 1 year solid at where ever you go before you leave that way you have enough experience to go a lot more places but the better places usually will want 2yrs experience.
And don't buy a truck or lease what ever they call it, drive for a couple years till you see how everything works. -
Chinatown Thanks this.

I asked in your “parking” thread, where exactly do you live? I’m in SPI and have trucked for nearly 30yrs. I know of a lot of opportunities and have a couple that’d be ideal for you, if I knew exactly where you lived. PM me, if you don’t want to be public.
