Viera was the latest and greatest maybe 5-6 years ago when I was looking to build a dream home. Haven’t been keeping up with with real estate and local news since I started OTR 7 years ago.
For me it’s just getting super congested here.
What I personally would do if I didn’t have baggage is move beach side..Indiatlantic is my favorite town. Beaches, bikini’s and beer year round
CalculatedRisk and Chinatown Thank this. -
Yes I know that's a tough ask. Did reefer for 8yrs ain't going back.Concorde Thanks this.

I've been here since the early 80s. Lived and worked in Cape Canaveral rents on the beach were under 500 for a one bedroom. Bought a house 2 blocks from the beach for 80 grand. Lost that in the divorce. It's worth a small fortune today.CruzControhl2 and Concorde Thank this.

If/when you get sick of looking for coast-to-coast dry van work from central FL -- check out Indian River Transport.
They do runs to/from Flawider/west coast.
But it's (mostly) food-grade tanker.
Apparently it's a good fleet.
In fact -- there's an active thread here on the Forum about them:

I looked at Indiatlantic-By-The-Sea on Zillow. Even the older houses are expensive, but affordable. Many of the homes and condos show big price cuts.

Sure will thanks for the info.

I live in Melbourne. Viera is OK. If you can swing it, look for a condo in satellite Beach or Indian Harbor Beach. if you go further south, such as Melbourne Beach, the prices may go down.

I know, he said that he didn’t want reefer, maybe refrigerated express would work for him.
