Yes most of the time. There are a couple different charts but defpotec is the one most often used.

youre posting on here, so obviously you know how to read.

This is like studying for a pee test, do what youre supposed to, and youll be fine (for drug test, just dont do the drugs, for this, get glasses if you need them)

It's not cheating so they think he can see. It's cheating so they don't put a "prescription eyeglasses required" on his CDL. Having that restriction means having the eyeglasses you wear PLUS a spare pair of eyeglasses with you or you are illegal. Without the restriction and wearing eyeglasses you are legal, except for the cheating the tst part. Or so I have been told.

Yes. If I wake up and don't put on eyeglasses I can read almost everything with some minor concentration. I'll eventually get a headache from the frequent concentration if there is more than occasional reading to be done.

I wear glasses and have never once in the 12 odd years of being a driver and several level 1s been asked to have a second pair or prove i have a second pair. They only check if you have a pair on or not. That doesnt mean there aint some rule someplace that says you need to but I personally have never seen it. Even though i carry an extra plus 2 extra lenses because 20/120 and 20/170 without them lol.

The issue i see is a lot of people who "dont want to do something" are the type who will also drive without glasses on and then end up on a road thats posted 3 ton or various other nonsense. I have very little tolerance for people who try to sidestep rules that blatently. They are a big reason why we have crap like the speed mandate or ELD mandates crammed down our throat now. They are also usually the ones you see on here being mocked for driving like morons and doing a stupid. Letting them slide is also how we have ended up with so many steeringwheel holders.

LOL. I knew exactly what you meant when I read it.

    Yes, it's the most common.

I remember (DEF) Diesel Exhaust Fluid (POT) Weed (EC) Electric car. :)

When I was in 10th grade, I had my “go to friend” give me the answers to the geometry test later that day. I hadn’t studied and I really needed to pass this test. Well, taking the test something didn’t feel right with the answers I was given. I knew enough to know that. In this class the particular teacher was a very hot blonde. The next day, when she was passing the test back to us students, she leaned over and put her arm around me and said very loudly in front of the class “you got every single answer right, but too bad they were to the wrong test, I had two tests, then she took out a marker and wrote a giant F in the middle of my paper. Lesson learned. It was quite embarrassing.

The eye charts my friend are the same. There’s many different tests and they don’t all come in the same order. So memorizing it won’t do you any good. Not unless you can memorize that particular test. I don’t know maybe you can sneak in there and snap a picture of it. Good luck.

Thats not a thing at all. No such regulation exists.

    And its *corrective lenses*
Because contacts are worn by many people.

Might want to get an eye test beforehand. Your description sounds more like you just need reading glasses which won't be listed as required to drive on your license

    tscottme Thanks this.

An extra pair of glasses is a good idea, but it’s never been a requirement.
