Just go to a chiropractor that does physicals a couple weeks before physical and take a picture of the chart then when you go for your physical you know the answer

just go to a professional, get your eyes checked, and if you need glasses...so what..???

trying to circumvent the DOT physical tells me you do not belong at the wheel..what else will you try and get around?

    the drug screening?

If your eyes are bad, you shouldn't get a CDL.

Maybe I confused the pilot medical and the truck driving medical consequences if there is a corrective lenses requirement on it.

my chiropractor always mentions needing to have a spare set of glasses. maybe it's because I'm usually wearing contacts? I think it's a darn good idea to have a spare set of glasses. imagine breaking a set and driving without

The real concern is the hairy palms that go with the blindness.

There used to be something about having spare lenses if you wear contacts but I don’t even think that’s a thing anymore. But yeah, common sense would tell anyone that can’t see to have spares. I always just keep my old pair in the truck when I get a new pair of glasses.
