    I worked out of the Quality Carriers terminal in that neighborhood for a couple years. No trace of the stockyards there any more.

    This comes less than 24 hours after Memphis police told the City council that they arrested more than 4,000 juveniles last year. Twelve of those kids were only 8 years old.

    What they really need is more gub'ment money.....yeah, that's the ticket.

    Or, choice 'B'.......have your 8 year old in his or her room doing ####### homework and learning how to be somebody!

    Memphis has been in decline for a long time .
    I had a pick up off Mallory at a frozen facility about a year ago and thanked God I got out of there before dark.

    Born and raised in Memphis, in the hood even, Whitehaven. It was a great place to grow up........but that was then.

    I've got one relative there nowadays and I despise the whole place, from 50 miles east practically west to Little Rock.

    I don't pick or deliver there, ever. I don't even look to see what rates are.

    If I could get me Mom out, who will never leave probably, I wouldn't p*ss on the place if it was on fire.
