isn't there any mention at all in any service books that came with the truck?
you could also go to any dealer parts dept and ask there as well. even general truck repair garages should have that info. -
Whew! Wasn't sure what I was going to read about when I opened this thread.
Magoo1968, 4mer trucker, Kyle G. and 4 others Thank this. -
That would be gender fluid - trans fluid is, err - different.Magoo1968, InTooDeep, 4mer trucker and 9 others Thank this.

I'm guessing a semi synthetic 75-90W , a quick call to dealership with the last 6 of VIN should confirm.InTooDeep, 4mer trucker and Diesel Dave Thank this.

So I did this thing we call 'Google it'. I opened up my computer and put 'dt12 transmission fluid' into the search bar and you'd never guess what came up.
JoeyJunk, Iamoverit, High Stepper and 2 others Thank this. -
On the edge of my seat Scotty - share with the class.Isafarmboy, 86scotty, 4mer trucker and 4 others Thank this.

Seeing how the D12 is not a full automatic but an "Automated MANUAL Transmission" I would use the same full synthetic 75W-90 that I would use in any manual transmission.InTooDeep, Diesel Dave and blairandgretchen Thank this.
