Walmart gift cards scam going on

This is what's happening, and it's not just Walmart.

 

we always handed out gift cards..

this year, it'll be cash in envelopes.

that way, the person can go to any store rather than the only one on that card.

we once and only once bought VISA gift cards, but they charged a fee on each purchase...BS to that, they already got our money when we bought them.

 

Yep, cash is king. Just make sure you get it from a bank, not the corner convivence store. At least then there is a 99% chance it's not counterfeit.

 

Cash is king. A family member in another state advertised some type of gaming system he had for sale. Some guy called and was interested. He came to the house and agreed to pay $250.00 cash for the gamer system. Paid cash and left. The family relative went shopping and then discovered the cash was counterfeit. I told my relatives grandmother, "Tell him to use the money for tips."

 

Bad idea.
Nobody wants to have a conversation with the Secret Service about why forking over counterfeit cash is illegal!

 

That’s easy.
If they won’t allow you tom talk to GM, tell them to call corporate on sat phone.

 

Plausible deniability.

 

Like they’re going buy that BS!
