Some pos apparently abandoned what I think is a pregnant pit bull in the Dallas drop yard , I'm not a dog person but I gave her a subway sandwich and a bowl of water .
She appears to have a very good temperament .

In your opinion what pays more per year? That’s the question. At the end of the day it’s all about money, yes I like to get treated well like everybody else but getting treated well doesn’t pay my bills.

    rokue and bzinger Thank this.

I'm still weighing the pros and cons of regional vs OTR.

Regional I get home every weekend which is nice. Sometimes I can get through the house during the week which is awesome. Consistent customers, etc. The biggest con is the fact that we go to Dallas all the time. I agree with you about that. The whole Metroplex has the worst drivers in the US hands down. I've caught myself thinking multiple times that I wished I was in Chicago or even LA over Dallas. There's certain times in Dallas where I simply won't even drive there, which probably doesn't help my miles. I have a 1300 appointment in Garland tomorrow which is pushing it.

OTR, better miles, better pay, don't have to deal with DFW on a weekly basis, or hardly at all. 6 cpm bonus that I lost going to regional. Yes I'll probably have to stay out for 3.5-4 weeks but I usually take 5-6 days off as well. I can plan my home activities around that a lot better then a 34 or something at home. One of the things I've been noticing is that I always seem to feel rushed only having 1.5-2 days off before going back out. My issues with OTR are that some parts of the country just aren't great. My truck is only a midroof, which if I was OTR I would want a condo for extra space. Although with that being said, my truck is due to be yanked by Spring if they keep me in it to 500k.

There's some days where I want to stay on regional, and others where I want to go back OTR.

There's also the fact that I'm young, single, and have no kids. Yes I have animals but my roommate lives here as well.

Awesome!! Hopefully she gets to a good home. We got 3 dogs, 2 of which are rescued, one of those is a senior rescue, he needed a forever home that cared about him.

    Thanks for looking out her!!

rokue, dwells40, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.
