Dallas-Fort Worth area there is a shady company named Dallas County Parking Enforcement.
There are two men driving in separate white small cars making massive amounts of money.
These individuals say they cannot knock in your door to give trucker a warning to leave. But only after they boot drivers truck and put a sticker on truck window. Only then can they knock in drivers door afterwards.
But at the same time demand hundreds of dollars aggressively or else they threatened with towing truck.
All they want is money and if driver gives them a couple hundred dollars they will let truck stay in place.
Signs are not in every parking lot entrance and are not well marked. This is in walmarts and lots next to walmarts.
They are in agreement with separate towing companies that come tow trucks away.
Dallas County Parking Enforcement does not have a solid address. It operates under shadows hidding and it extorts drivers in various cities including Irving Texas and McKinney TX. The business does not seem to have proper permits to operate.

Police in McKinney Tx. Will tell the shady parking enforcement to remove the boot off truck as driver did not receive a proper warning.

But in Irving Texas police will take side with shady parking enforcement. Saying it is a civil matter they cannot even advocate for fairness on drivers behalf.

Carrying a little portable saw to cut the boot in my opinion is the best option. As they cannot touch driver. And if they do touch driver it is self defense. All they can do is file a small claims case for the cheap tire boot.
And I doubt they will want to take many drivers to court for to recuperate a cheap tire boot that is like 150 dollars or less online.

These are two locations of many they can be found at. Remember there are more locations than these:

Walmart and vacant parking lot attached to:
1635 Market Pl Blvd, Irving, TX 75063

    Walmart on:
    1721 N Custer Rd, McKinney, TX 75071

Did you have prior approval from the property owner or manager to park on the property?

A truck tire wheel well is huge. Only damage would be minor if driven a short distance slow to exit onto streets.
A broken bumper inner plastic bracket that can be bought easily. Plastic brackets are cheap even more bought second hand used.
Two regular screws on wheel well mud plastic cover. Screws are like 50 cents each.
Not paying a single dime to crooks seeing their face that they failed miserably in getting a single dollar is very well worth it and fun to do. Seriously no joke was laughing on it after.

Knowing there is no exterior body damage and they saw it. Seeing only very few tiny small scratches happened is the best feeling ever.
Going forward a portable saw is the best option next time.
Exposing yo is best of course.
Even the cop commented was he was surprised damage was minor.:laughing-guffaw:

Even the city will give a warning before booting or towing a truck. Driver can be stopped even for 15 minutes and be booted or towed even if inside the truck with these scammers.
Why not at least knock on door first and tell him to leave instead of trying to extort money of driver as a low life would do for gains.
Specially since signs are not visible in every entrance. Or in the middle of the parking lot like they normally are.
By the way they don't care if driver has permission or not.
Their low life personality is money hungry and their excuses for profit are endless.

This post isn't even about a bad trucking company. It's in the wrong category. You can't just park wherever you feel like it. Get permission directly from someone with authority to do so or stop crying when the property owner punishes you for trespassing.

Far be it from me for bringing up an old situation and laughing a little. But didn't a legit tow driver get beaten within an inch of his life in MN back in 2020? I mean the trucker was illegally parked at the Wal-Mart, but this man was legit unlike these guys. Methinks they need to meet someone like that.

Angle grinder and bear/pepper spray, unless you want to be a victim of extortion. Crooks are getting the upper hand as we all see lately, either you fight back or bend over. If you're parked legally and something like this happens, it's game on at that point.

See, here's the thing. It's almost never when someone is legally parked. (Memphis excluded) It's always people that park illegally and then whine when they if fact get caught parking illegally.
