I passed you yesterday, but my radio is crap. You were stuck behind a couple side dumps going up a short grade. Some other time. That delivery you have is in the middle of farm fields if I recall……

Got this load turned into a drop at the Walmart DC in North Platte. Hoping to get to Rawlins, WY this evening, then drop my load tomorrow. After that, i’ll head up to Broken Bow to grab a load that i’ll drop in Fremont, then put my truck in the shop.

I’m hoping to get to Fremont by tomorrow evening. 625 miles from where i’ll stop tonight to the yard in Fremont, but all the driving after I reach North Platte will be almost exclusively on two lane highways through small towns, so we’ll see. Worst case scenario i’ll stop at the Sapp Bros in Columbus and head to Fremont thursday morning

    Friend Thanks this.

    Well Monday was interesting.

Simple run to Goodlettsville TN so I left out Sunday night after Home Time in Lincoln for a few hours then a full day drive on Monday to be able to drop first thing Tuesday morning.

Monday was looking rather icy from KC to STL so I ventured out only to discover four cars in the ditch before reaching I40… lol

Interstate to Columbia MO wasn’t too bad but at that point I caught up to the storm and warnings of more ice ahead. (I hate ice) Stopped at Midway for lunch and to unclench my buttocks a bit.

Wasn’t too bad, just had to go slow but it was pretty unnerving to lose count of the number of Tractor Trailers in the ditch a long the way. Some were pretty fresh too. I lost count but was more than 10 and possibly 15.

But it all cleared up once I hit I24.

    Is it Springtime yet???

Cool. The whole family! When I go to the Philippines with my wife, we have to rent a 15 passenger van to haul everyone.

Ugh. Time it just right to get to Goodlettsville to park on site overnight so I can start my day off right and get unloaded at the very beginning of my 11/14. Get my reload but I have to get here before 1500 as they don’t load between 1500 and 1800. Arrive at 1400 thinking I’ll get loaded and out before 1500… nope.

Sitting here feeling the occasional forklift at 1920… what a lost day.

    Ya, I know, I know… it’s Trucking.

Between the Ice yesterday and the downtime today, I should have just stayed in Lincoln a few more days… LOL :)

Some days you are the pigeon, some days you are the statue. Had a 7 AM pick up appointment here in town. Got to the truck a little after 6 with a plan to head over about 6:40 to get loaded. Do my walk around and peek in the back to make sure my load of Sailboat fuel was free of contamination and I find a lake. Nearest place to get it looked at was 12 miles away, headed over and they are estimating about a 3 hour wait. Le Sigh.
