I recently got my CDL through 160 Driving Academy. I have applied to no less than 80 companies with only 1-2 maybes (which went nowhere). I’m not picky at all, just want somewhat decent home time. I like to think I could deal with 10-12 days out but home weekly would be ideal, local would be amazing. I’ve applied to food service, local farms, mega carriers, etc. I’m hoping you guys might can shine light on a company I may have missed or something I’m doing wrong. I’m 22 y/o, clean mvr, no accidents, no restrictions, have commercial driving experience (non-cdl) and yard jockey experience.

Cypress is one of the companies that hasn’t left me hanging or said no. I was told I’d have an answer from them in the next few days. I applied to CMI and have tried calling several times with no luck. I applied to the Keim just now, hopefully I’m not out of their range. I should’ve specified I’m in North East Georgia. About 50-60 miles east of Atlanta.

I would recommend Friendly Frank’s Transport if you were a Kentuckian. But, alas…
