Looks like 80 in WY is still having travel/weather issues...I rolled up 491/191/6 then to 15 without any issues today. After yesterday's wind, today was the exact opposite...bright sunshine and blue skies.

One thing I like about running out here is the scenery. Drivers who stay back east don't get to see stuff like this

Oh, ok...I did a quick search and didn't find anything, musta not worded it right. I thought about pulling PODS for one of their FL accounts.

No worries. He didn't link the article so your link is fine, not a duplicate.

They also had an issue with something to do with the engines and boeing had requested a safety exemption for that so they could get the olanes delivered

Just a FYI, rework on parts is pretty common in the aviation industry. When a single wing we haul has over 10,000 man hours, with every single thing done being inspected, they often find small issues. The manufacturers have processes to fix pretty much any issue.

The problem is those should not make it to the finished product without being addressed.

Well with the increased and frankly needed inspections they will likely continue to find items that need to be improved.

The media has them in their sights and Boeing will finally have to stop trying to run the company like an automotive company and get back to the culture that made them a world leader.

Well at least some of us old timers who spent years working with Boeing hope that’s the case.
