Hey man, I want to drive a Food Grade tanker, and I'm looking at Indian River out of Winter Heaven Fl, right now I'm doing Flatbed, can you tell what the job consists of?Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

Indian river is a good company most of the time as long as you don't get stuck in a money pit circle in the northeast.tscottme and nextgentrucker Thank this.
-
What do you mean by that?
-
which good company are we speaking of?TB John Thanks this.

The worst day driving a tanker is better than the best day pulling a van or reefer. If you know….you know.
tscottme, RockinChair, Dwellsouth and 9 others Thank this. -
I left food grade to haul gas.
I'm seriously thinking of returning to food grade.nextgentrucker Thanks this. -
There's something that they do up in the northeast that will give you a bunch of short runs (300-450 miles) to make the company money but doesn't pay very well to the driver and keeps you up there. As long as you keep doing long hauls it's okay, but that's probably the same at most companies.tscottme, Loudstacks and nextgentrucker Thank this.
