Ole hurricane is back

I talked to one of their drivers once and was told that the trucks are specd out with 18 speed gearboxes, dual 175 gallon tanks and big motors but the owner in some form or fashion has the 18 speeds locked out in the high side and are effectively 8 speeds because he doesn’t want drivers abusing the 18 speed, only one of the fuel tanks is functional so they can better control fueling, and the big power is castrated so drivers who are lease purchasing by the way , don’t abuse the motor and that they are specifically told they must make a decision to be dedicated to the truck and run hard and not bother with hometime. In essence choose between the pretty truck or your family. So given that I can understand why some people are reading into the recordings made of this clown instructing his employees to badger the drivers

 

All that equipment they have on those trucks and they neutered them???
That should tell people right there and then to RUN,don’t walk away!!
That’s like giving me the keys but telling me that I can’t drive the Porsche!!!

 

Seeing as how they’ve been pulling it off for around 30 years or more and it’s all over the Internet what kind of company they are is it Hurricane’s fault or the line of drivers that keep signing up for it? At some point people have to be responsible for their own decisions even if they’re dealing with lowlifes.

If I were smashing people’s hands with a hammer but people kept lining up to get their hands smashed at some point the focus would have to be taken from me and placed on the ones lining up for the pain.

That’s the 64,000$ question, isn’t it? The same question could be posed for any other lease purchase scam but they keep pulling suckers into it.

 

Kid with prime inc on utube ive watched a few times and spoken of , just leased thru prime . He leased a peterbilt spent first several days in the shop , new truck . Shakes head .
