Super Ego steals money, bleeds drivers!

I like Super Ego . First couple of checks were under 1k because of the plate and other deductions but after that truck payment is 700 and. I pay myself .70 cents a mile and put the rest in escrow. At end of year Ill use that escrow for taxes and any repairs etc.

What puts many drivers behind is the belief that their " escrow" or maintenance fund will be enough to cover all repairs or unexpected expenses An engine overhaul combined with a set of tires oh and the oldest needs braces, and wifes daily driver is making a funny noise. Quarterly taxes are due? Maybe the company can loan me some money to help. You can see where I'm going with this.

 

An inframe overhaul alone can easily set you back about $30-$35K on average,depending on make and model of tractor!

 

There used to be this company, B**B&*B*, that had all those charges, and then some. Wonder what ever happened to them.....

 

I think they were shut down for hijacking posts and thread spamming.

 

And that's just the shop costs. Figure the money lost for down time and it gets ugly real fast.

 

Seems like I vaguely remember that.....

 

Oh yeah,never mind insurance,IFTA,registration,quarterly tax payments of course.
Anybody else have anything to add to that?

 

Nothing beats waking up at a coop with no honey bucket.
