Sometimes it's just the nature of being the new guy. You're 3 months in. If after 6 months and you still can't get any miles, then that's a problem. I think you should consider flatbed or reefers if you're going to make a change, or at least go to a smaller dry van company. You're working for Total, and aren't they apart of US Express, or who is also a part of Swift? Being in Florida, reefers would be ideal. However, since you live in Florida, I think it's best that you try to stick it out long as possible....it's easier for an experienced Florida driver to get work then o e that has a year or less.

U.might look into Crete Schaffer, I never heard much good about Total Trans of Mississippi. U know they got bought out by Knight Swift last year.
Also.I.started trucking back.in 2016 and was making 39cpm back then. I can't. believe they are only paying 41cpm to new drivers these days pathetic! And with inflation?? . From what I'm seeing -- I can't honestly recommend you change jobs to anywhere else right now.
The overall freight market is so tight -- especially for newer drivers.
You would basically be jumping from one frying pan into another.
You would also have the disadvantages of starting all over again at the very bottom with another carrier -- plus, you'd later look more like a job hopper.
Reefer freight has its own set of nightmares. Pickups & deliveries are scheduled at all different hours of both day & night -- so you'd have no consistent sleep schedule. Learning to sleep with that reefer motor running right outside your cab will likely require using earplugs. Also -- shippers & receivers will often treat you like a stray animal.
Flatbed would easily be the better option. Flatbed/open deck would give you far more consistent pickup/delivery schedules, & you would be home most weekends (not so with reefer freight).
With flatbed -- you would learn multiple skill sets that would make you more in demand in more places, later.
But even with flatbed -- you wouldn't likely see much increase in pay anytime soon.

Several drivers on this forum went there right out of cdl school and made great money doing California runs. Those are team runs and some of the drivers reported making $1700 weekly for each driver in the team.
