My old boss used to say "A company gets the kind of drivers it deserves." I think we all know what kind of drivers will be lured in by that ad.

Easy now. I used to work for these guys. That's right, I was a Yuba City piss bomber. Starting pay was .50 per mile in August 2020.

The only real problem I had with them, and it was the ultimate reason I left there, was the lack of hometime. Three days per month. Poo on that!

When I hired on, they bought what must have been 40 new tractors. Actually, I think the tractors were leased.

I was kept rather busy running up and down I-5 from Sumner, Washington to Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The yard there was a bit overcrowded with trailers. Once, I couldn't even get to my assigned trailer because it was buried two or three trailers deep.

Their maintenance was good. Every time you came to the Yuba City yard, you had to go through the shop for an inspection. Never encountered too much broken equipment that way.

Become one with the truck, ie, you will live in the truck and never see home.
