You need to learn to back up. It's so much easier to pull out when you're leaving than to back out.

When you back out, you hold everyone up. You need the practice, this is a good spot. Any other driver worth anything will help you

It's much quieter for sleeping if you pull in.

Well let me tell ya…. Any other driver worth anything is few and far between any more.

I jumped out 3 times in 1 night helping drivers at a Truckstop in Tennessee last year, not 1 person jumped out to help but they sure set in their a_ _ and watched….!!!!

Only with respect to reefers and trucks idling.

Until some reefer driver noses in beside you. Nosing to avoid the reefers was the reason I sometime did it, but you need to be careful and assume every possible and unusual late night make-a-spot will be in use when you need to back out so pick a nose in spot with extreme care, if at all.

I'm used to the noise so it doesn't bother me. I just take it as part of the job.

Noise has no effect on me either. I actually sleep better in my truck than I do at home.

When home I leave the tv on and turn it down low.

What is irritating is these new trucks with drivers who apparently have no clue how to turn the headlights off….

I'd rather look at the greenery than the dumpster behind the Love's
