So it was only a ghost AFTER you hit it, huh!:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Geeze I'll bet that didn't do your truck a whole lot of good. Anybody hurt, other than the moose?

I used to go thru Natural Bridge AL and would hear drivers at night ask if anyone had seen the "weetchy woman". Not sure about that spelling. She was a ghost that was to appear on the side of your truck looking for the trucker that had run her over. I hated going thru there at night.

No never heard she got in the truck just hanging on the passenger side. I heard she would just show up there as you were going down the rode. I never looked at that mirror till I got way past there.

Cooleemee NC.. The company sent me there to load yarn going to Laredo.. Its an old textile mill and this place is huge.. From what the owner told me afterwards ( I'll get to the story here on a sec.)... It was built in the 1930's . During it's hay day thi place employed over 1000 people... Any way I pulled up into this place looking for the shipping office . Half way down the building there's a set of double Steele doors. One is propped open with a cynder block.. Ok I'll check in there. I start my way in there . There's a dim light from inside so I try to catch a fork lift or whatever zipping by- it's about 2 in the afternoon. I'm about 50 ft from the door when I catch a silouete of a figure "glide" from right to left..just , it seemed the upper half.. And it was fast! I decided to check somewhere else.. That was pretty erie. It really didn't scare me as much as I was wondering did I really just see that? And like I said whatever that was.. It was fast!! Talk about making the hair stand up on the back of your neck..

One night I was on 24 going from Toledo to Fort Wayne. I heard a faint voice come over the radio asking if there was someplace that had truck parking going east on 24. I told him of a place behind me in Waterville. Its about 20 mile from Waterville to Napoleon. In that 20 miles I never passed a semi. I thought about it that night and wondered what happen. Thinking about it now makes me wonder what happen that night.

The only thing that's really freaked me out was the night I parked in a rest area near Van Horn TX. (I tried to post a "ghost story" on another forum that really sucked and this story gave me the idea).. But it was late..pulled in, shut the truck off and tried to catch some zzz's.
As I was almost in la la land I heard a freking creepy "giggle" that sent a chill thru me.. I don't know how to describe it. It sounded faint but like it was inside the cab. And I decided to get out of there. I rode the next 100 miles with every light inside that truck on..
