Any one know any secret parking areas in colorado springs area? street parking, empty lots?

 

Yes. If I escape without bedbugs it'll be a win. The nearest hotel they had an account with was full, so I had to come u[ with something under $100. I'm staying at the Red Roof Inn. I have to get a receipt in the morning to scan in for reimbursement.
The truck is supposed to be done by noon but that depends on a bearing coming in tonight and there not being any complications in the teardown and reassembly. Once I have a running truck then they'll have to find me a trailer and a load. Once the truck is released then weekend dispatch will have to find someplace in the ballpark of St Louis I can bobtail in to to get loaded.

 

I’d almost bet you’ll end up around Edwardsville to load something. With all the warehouses there and such.
Hopefully they get you rolling soon.

 

Most likely Pepsi St. Louis., or a broker load out, or up to Hannibal area..... we deliver to Edwardsville, sometimes reload outta the same location, but rare. ####ty landing spot for freight for us.

We pick up on that Illinois town up that way, can't think of the name, I'd imagine there over Hannibal, but probably st. Louis area

 

Shut down in AL with 2 minutes on my 11 and almost 650 miles… so not too bad of a day. Offsets the last two days a bit.

 

Quincy is where I went one of the times they had me over there.

 

I’ve spent many a night on Geiger Ct. dumping salt for the street department and was never bothered. On the weekend in the summer I highly doubt anyone would A) notice or B) care even if they did. That’s about all I got. Sorry. Colorado Springs is tricky. They want stuff but they don’t want trucks.

Quincy has been a little wonky lately. I was there on the 9th to load and they had their wires crossed and only had 1 pallet for the load I was supposed to pick up. They ended up putting 8 pallets on me going to a different location just to keep from bouncing me out.
