Yeah... The hopper guys im familiar with will literally pull off the pit and window thier load out the gate if someone hits thier trailers with a hammer or mallet. And they get really irratable if you lean skin against the polished sides of their setups.

IIRC had to stay within a very close proximity to the interstates at those weights, and had to have a permit.

wasn't mine, but i’ve seen many do that way.
I just been to them places a ton and knew by seeing them where they were.

My trailers have 6 vibrators mounted on them, not just line his two

I had to live load at Blue Buffalo in Richmond IN the other day and there were hoppers in their lot when I got there and the same trucks were still waiting to get in when I left.

It’s not just hoppers. We had one place with the pneumatic that was 7psi max for unloading and we’d be blowing salt off for about 5 hours.

    Oh yeah.
Rendering plants are right there also. If I never see another load of blood meal, chicken meal, bone meal, etc it would be to soon.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if some of our guys were in the lot waiting in Richmond.

Last harvest, Ihve had to wait as long as 9 hours at a Sanderson Farms feed mill to unload corn. And have been turned away at 10:00 pm after hours of wait, account of not unloading later than that. Have sat in a five mile long line in Greenville Ms waiting to unload. A lot of sitting and waiting during peak harvest.

I had three and a half days in KC because Integrated refused my chicken meal load. Then the powers to be somewhere couldn't decide where to take the load. It was at that point I requested to our guy to get me off a hopper and back on a bucket.

J.B Hunt and to I suppose a lesser extent Prime are in on this sort of thing too. I see J.B daycabs pulling hoppers all over Delmarva.

@wore out Didn’t you do this for some time?

WHAT? Did somebody leave him on supervised? You must be mistaken. Say it's not so. Don't you hate people with long memories....
