When I start to think I should just suck it up and start working with the numbers I'm seeing, I remember not wanting to do this coil load until he called me for the 3rd time...

Thats a 10 to 11 hour drive, plus load and unload time. Your gonna be in it for almost 24 hours. -

I hauled three loads of yearlings from Grantsville to Wahsatch yesterday. Didn't get any cowsh.it on me except for the soles of my boots. Thinking about buying a lottery ticket next.

Leaving out tomorrow with 5 of us to haul hay outta Oregon. I may need to tap some of you with hay tarps come October at this rate. We will have two trips back to back to haul hay then two drivers will need to service our local work. The rest of us will do our hay round for three weeks then we will need to take care of local runs for 10 days then back to hauling hay as fast and hard as we can go.
Whew! Get tired just thinking about it.
And this is retirement? Aww, we will get this hay contract done and most of us will put our feet up until next spring.
What is that saying? Don't b tch at your blessings. -

I came through before the fun began, but I44 had a few problems yesterday.
One tipped over load of onions, then -
Smoking trailer brakes turned into a fire, driver disconnected from trailer. Load of potatoes. Went up in flames.
Bet the firefighters were hungry after putting out that one.
