I doubt the internal tiedowns in a van would be sufficient, assuming the van has 2 or three of those trucks inside.

I recall seeing a forklift half way out the front side of a van once.

You know it's getting bad out there when van guys are getting this creative/desperate to find a load.

Also, I love how they tied the orange flag to the bumper, as if that somehow makes it all ok!

WLLs, tie downs and securement only seems to apply in the open deck world. I see forklifts moved in vans and containers every day "secured" with nothing but loadbars and the occasional 2" ratchet strap.

Sometimes, they might come in with chocked wheels but not always. Nearly worthless and if that was done on an open deck trailer the truck would be OOS but for some strange reason it's seems to be perfectly fine in a van.

OMG they are now moving up to bigger trucks! There are usually 3 vehicles loaded with other treasures going down the road at maybe 45 with "In Tow" in masking tape on the last vehicle. Pass carefully!

I don't know that it's that wierd. Back in 2008/9, I saw vans being loaded in Ladson, SC with Sprinter vans, two to a trailer to be delivered. Those were mostly held in with wood blocking screwed to the floor and wheel straps also screwed down. Helped load a couple while waiting for my load on a flatbed, to kill some time and see how they were doing it.
