Why didn't you ask your trainer? That's what he's there for.
tscottme Thanks this. -

Ask your trainer to explain things. It's his job to explain things & teach you company procedures.

It’s probably sealed because it’s been washed out. When I did food grade pneumatic we had to have a wash ticket and everything on the trailer had to be sealed, including the hose tubes, when we showed up to load. You need to be asking questions while you’re out with a trainer. And if they don’t give satisfactory answers ask for a different trainer.
bentstrider83, Eddiec, wis bang and 3 others Thank this. -
Did the trailer feel empty? The instant you start moving in a liquid trailer you will have no doubt if it's empty.
You have to be more assertive. "I'm not the smartest guy, and I'm new, what are we doing & why does the trailer have seals in place. I want to do the right thing?" Have you had conversations before? You need to break out of your shell and ask questions.
If neither of you are communicating, ask for another trainer that will communicate. Be prepared to sit unpaid until they find one. Blame everything on being new, not the sharpest crayon in the box, etc.hope not dumb twucker and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -

Say, "hey, trainer man dude. I asked these innernet guys what they thought of you pickin up this trailer. Here's what they think"
That should start a conversation -
Alright nvm.
