Regen Understanding

    I can say that Crete Carrier does a DPF filter cleaning on all their trucks at @300k miles. They would not plan for that maintenance on all trucks if it were not required in most cases.

    Have your filters checked.

    I don't quite understand this. Is your truck doing an active regen while you are driving? I didn't think that was possible. I drive a Volvo and it does passive regens while driving but there isn't really any way that I know you can tell it is doing it. Not really quite sure what is really happening here.

    I bought a 2020 Cascadia that was a Crete truck a couple of months ago with approximately 465K miles. Do you know how Crete cleans their DPFs?

    The member you quoted passed away from Covid during the pandemic. @supersnackbar might have some info on how they maintained the trucks at Crete.
